Job Title: Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Cardiac Telemetry and PCU experience required - Experience with rapid response teams - Comfort in post-myocardial infarction and pre/post cardiac catheterization care - Knowledge of TR Bands, Central Lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care. This role focuses on providing care to cardiac patients. You will assess and monitor patients with conditions such as acute coronary syndrome and heart failure. Key responsibilities include the management of dysrhythmias and the administration of vasoactive drips. You will perform telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias. Experience in pre and post cardiac surgery is essential. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekend shifts every six weeks. Compliance with strict attendance policies is mandatory. Candidates must pass an EKG exam during the compliance process.
