Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
specialized psychological services within a K-12 educational
setting, this position supports student learning and well-being
through assessment, intervention, and consultation. The role
focuses on enhancing the educational experience of students by
addressing their cognitive, emotional, and social needs. Location:
Kinston, NC School Type: PreK-12 Job Duration: Contract through
June 5th, 2026 Work Hours: 25-30 hours per week Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational
assessments to identify students strengths and areas for
intervention Collaborate with educators, parents, and
administrators to develop appropriate educational plans and
interventions Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to
students as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
to contribute expert psychological perspectives Assist with crisis
response and general mental health promotion within the school
community Qualifications and Skills: Masters or Doctoral degree in
School Psychology or related field Valid licensure or certification
as a School Psychologist in North Carolina Experience working with
diverse student populations across PreK-12 grade levels Strong
knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and intervention
techniques Excellent communication, collaboration, and
problem-solving skills Availability to interview Friday between
