Center is looking for a Locum Primary Care - Family Practice Physician! Coverage will be Dec 2025 - mid-Jan 2026! Note: Practice located in rural area in Southern VA - Emporia VA Type: 1099 Practice Setting: Primary Care practice with rotating specialties Pay Rate: $170/hr Shift: 3x 8 hour shifts weekly 8:30a-5p Mon-Wed (preferred) but will work around physician availability JOB DETAILS: Are You a Subsidiary of a Larger Organization: Yes Average Number of Patients Per Day: 20 Number of Exam Rooms: 6 Average number of OB patients Per Day: 0 Services Available On-Site: Laboratory, POC testing, Phlebotomy Documentation System/EMR: Epic Trauma Level/Designation: N/A Emergency Supplies Available: Defibrilator, Airway Practice Population: Adult, Pediatric, Newborn, Geriatric Required Medicine Procedures: Adult Outpatient, Without ICU/CCU Required Pediatric Procedures: Newborn Care (>2000 gms), General Outpatient Required Gynecology Procedures: Pelvic Exam / Pap Smear, not required but helpful Required Surgical Procedures: Suturing of Minor Lacerations, I & D (Incision & Drainage) Required Psychiatric Procedures: Uncomplicated Adult, however BH physician on site REQUIREMENT: Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED Active VA license - REQUIRED BLS - REQUIRED Local Only Note : All travel, lodging, and malpractice with tails are covered.
