Pediatric Hospitalist opening near Raleigh, NCLocated in Oxford, NC - Raleigh 25mExperience RequiredThis role ensures proper illness and injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The Hospitalist relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks. The role involves providing direct inpatient care to pediatric patients.Role: Provide direct inpatient care to pediatric patients.Responsible for providing episodic and chronic care, as well as screening and educational assistance to patients.Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations in internal medicine.Provide quality care to patients by following the most current evidence-based guidelines and procedures of practice.Adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.Take part in quality assurance audits, including continuing education, and peer review.Recognize the diversity of the patient population and treat all warmly and kindly.Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding.Sufficient clinical knowledge and experience to provide clinical competence and meet institutional standards of care.Interpersonal skills to deal harmoniously with staff, patients, and family members.Demonstrated ability to meet the responsibilities of the position.MD Qualifications: - Current and valid North Carolina physician licensure - Completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program. - BC/BE in specialty
