assignment completed License: RN License Required Certifications:
NIH, ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must be able to start
IVs. Must be able to insert Foley catheters. Must be able to insert
NG tubes. Experience in performing EKGs. Experience with heparin
drips. Description: This position requires a medical-surgical nurse
with strong clinical skills. The nurse will work with a patient
population that may include adults and geriatrics. The unit
consists of 48 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Candidates should
be prepared to float to inpatient rehab or emergency tasks on
occasion. The equipment used includes an Electronic Health Record
system. The nursing role includes managing various common diagnoses
and treatments. The ideal candidate should have a strong ability to
adapt to a high turnover environment. A collaborative approach to
patient care and communication is essential. The role does not
involve call requirements or mandatory weekend hours. All attire
should adhere to the designated dress code of scrubs, with no
