Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Vascular Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel rate: /n/n TOTAL TAXABLE $1,015.20 /n/n TOTAL NONTAXABLE $1,435.00 /n/n TOTAL GROSS $2,450.20 /n/n /n/n Responsibilities: /n/n /n/t 1. Specializes in performing cardiac ultrasound diagnostic studies. /n /n/n /n/t 1. Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met. /n /n/n /n/t 1. Operates and maintains all assigned ultrasound scanning equipment to ensure it works properly. /n /n/n /n/t 1. Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings and conducts scanning procedures to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. /n /n/n /n/n Requirements: /n/n /n/t 1.
