Skills and Abilities Level Characteristics following:
--- - - -Working Heavy lifting and the ability to transport
stretcher and wheelchair directed, physician performed, physician
correspondence including record specimens
--- - - -Perform other clinical functions as delegated by
supervisor
--- - - -Answer telephones-explaining treatment procedures to
patients
--- - - -Greet patients, arrange for laboratory services
--- - - -Schedule appointments age-specific competencies
--- - - -Take medical histories and record vital signs
--- - - -Perform routine administrative and patient care support
duties
--- - - -Fill out insurance forms; good customer service skills
--- - - -Telephone/ handle billing and bookkeeping duties
--- - - -Change sterile and non-sterile dressings, remove
staples
--- - - -Authorize drug refills as directed
--- - - -Administrative duties may include but not limited to the
update and file
--- - - -Perform other administrative duties as examinations and
procedures examination and procedures
--- - - -Prepare and administer medications as directed
--- - - -Remove Assisting physician during the

infection control procedures and safety in administering routine
and special treatments to patients, and clinic staff

Minimum Qualifications
Education-Work requires graduation from an accredited Practical
Nurse program.
Experience-No experience required.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
Current State of North Carolina LPN licensure is required - Duke is
