An exciting opportunity in North Carolina is now available as a Nurse Manager Med-Sug.The Nurse Manager Med-Surg will be a full-time, permanent employee for a reputable health system that offers acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities, home health, hospice and wellness centers throughout North Carolina. The Nurse Manager Med-Surg will be based out of a 200+ bed community hospital that offers 24-hour emergency care, inpatient psychiatric services, nursery, and more. This hospital is fully accredited by Joint commission, uses advanced technology, is home to top-ranked physicians, and provides accessible, compassionate, quality care to patients throughout the region. -Reporting to the hospital's Administrative Nursing Director, the Nurse Manager Med-Surg is -accountable for all clinical and administrative responsibilities of the inpatient unit, primarily consisting of Med/Surg and Telemetry patients. The -Nurse Manager Med-Surg is also -supported by a dedicated team of Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses RN, Licensed Practical Nurses LPN, Technicians, and ancillary staff. The -Emergency Department Nursing Manager -will oversee department workflow, staff scheduling, monitoring the budget, updating policy procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing for upcoming accreditation and surveys. The -Nurse Manager Med-Surg -will hold clinical responsibilities, such as clinical education to staff and providing direct patient care if needed. -The -Nurse Manager Med-Surg -will lead by example, and act as a mentor, leader and resource to their team. The -Nurse Manager Med-Surg -must have recent clinical experience working in an inpatient Medical Surgical, or Telemetry unit. Additionally, the -Nurse Manager Med-Surg -should have previous leadership experience and be eligible to obtain their active North Carolina Registered Nurse license prior to starting. -The hospital is coated in Northern North Carolina, in a suburb that is easily commutable from North Carolina and Southern Virginia.
