SummaryExamines patients with breathing-related conditions and
conducts diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop
and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs
physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use
medications.Minimum EducationGraduate of a Respiratory Care Program
of Study for an Advanced Practice Level Respiratory Therapist with
an Associate's degree in Science or Certification of Graduation is
required. -Certifications/LicensesActive and valid Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or Certified Respiratory
Therapist (CRT) certification is required.Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is
required upon hire.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required
within six (6) months from hire date.Neonatal Resuscitation
Provider (NRP) is preferred. -Required SkillsCritical thinking
skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal
