Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient -condition. Documents patient care given.Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.Maintains examination areas.Organizes workflow of clinical staffMinimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Medical Assistant required. Other Certificate from a college in Medical Assistant in lieu of Associate's required.Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Certifications/Licenses:
