Registered Dental Hygienist

We're hiring a Dental Hygienist who can help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients! You'll conduct preliminary dental exams, help dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile! Responsibilities:
--- Document patient visits and keep health records current
--- Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease
--- Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned
--- Examine patients' dental health and get an overview of their oral health history
--- Records treatment information on the patient's chart, including treatment rendered, the type of treatment planned, and the amount of chair time, doctor time, and assistant time needed for the next appointment
--- Takes radiographs as directed by the doctor
--- Records evaluation of periodontal conditions, occlusal relations, and extent of prophylaxis on dental chart to ensure a complete diagnosis and proper treatment plan by the dentist
--- Provides customer service support to patients by escorting them to and from the treatment room
--- Performs oral cancer exams on all patients
--- Scales, polishes, and applies fluoride to patient's teeth
--- Prepares all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing and sharpening all instruments, cleaning handpieces and room, restocking supplies
--- Inspects patient's oral cavity and charts lesions, existing restorations, and missing teeth
--- Evaluates gingival health and health of all oral tissue
--- Executes root planning and Myofunctional evaluations

Qualifications:
--- Associate's degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
--- Certified to perform CPR
--- Capable of standing all day to assist patients
--- Valid X-ray certificate
--- Current RDH license
--- CPR & first aid certificate
