PERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITALUtilizes the nursing process including: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and recording ofpatient care. Teaches, delegates and supervises other nursing staff in the provision of care. Coordinatesservices with other members of the health-care team to provide complex patient care. Practices within thescope of the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards.Reports to: Director in Inpatient ServicesFLSA: Non-exemptGrade: GX2Minimum Education:Successful completion of the Nursing Diploma Program or an Associates Degree in Nursing from an accreditedschool is required.Bachelor's degree is preferred.Required Skills:Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Licenses:Registered Nurse LicenseCertification:Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire.
