Job Description:

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our confirmations team in Research Triangle Park, NC. This role works in a high volume, production based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.

First Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Properly dispose of laboratory aliquots and extracts
• Manage hazardous waste and recycling around the laboratory
• Prepare reagents, mobile phases, and perform the quality checks prior to analytical work
• Ensure lab equipment is working properly and coordinate with laboratory personnel as needed
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Purchase and receive laboratory supplies and reagents
• Follow proper reagent handling, storage, and labeling procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
