Job Description:
Overview As a Training Specialist in the Cambrex Analytical
department, you will be part of a fast-growing analytical team
supporting cGMP testing for clients in small molecules and
biopharmaceuticals. This role will be focused on analytical
processes and training needs for the department. This role will be
expected to work with SMEs and managers to assess training needs in
the analytical chemistry group and plan, develop and provide hands
on training for Analytical techniques and Train the Trainer using
methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, online
platforms, over the shoulder, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
This role will support continuous improvement initiatives around
the development, organization, and implementation of effective
training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational
materials while working closely with SMEs and management. Examples
of training topics include HPLC, GC, KF, GMP, Empower 3, PCR, plate
assays, mass spectrometry, etc. Responsibilities - Primary focus is
to assess training needs in the analytical chemistry area and work
with SMEs to develop and deliver training to meet those needs -
This includes onboarding training and training progression tracking
of new hire chemists as well as skill enhancing training of
existing staff - Ensures efficient, effective and rapid
introduction of new analytical resources into the biopharmaceutical
and analytical chemistry departments - Acts as the primary resource
to introduce value, cultural and behavioral expectations to new
analytical chemists Qualifications - Doctoral or masters degree in
chemistry with 8 years of related experience in pharmaceuticals, or
BS degree with 10 years related experience, or equivalent
combination of education and experience. - At least 5 years of
experience operating in a cGMP analytical development and testing
environment. - Must demonstrate a positive attitude and have
experience with continuous improvement initiatives. - Must have
ability to effectively present information and must have strong
communication skills. - Biopharmaceutical experience is preferred.
