If so, we've got the job for you!Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated, experienced part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Durham office. At Comfort Keepers, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and older adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their home. The RN is responsible for providing engaged, extraordinary service to Seniors in the Durham area. As a Comfort Keeper RN, you will have the opportunity to support our caregivers in delivering one-on-one care that enhances quality of life of our clients and their families.RN Responsibilities:

• Performs initial home evaluations of potential clients, assess client needs, develops and documents client plan of care.
• Conducts regular on-site supervisory visits of personal care aides.
• Regularly reevaluates client plans of care to ensure client needs are met.
• Ensures ongoing coordination of care between the client, caregiver, physician, and other Comfort Keepers staff.
• Other client care duties as assigned.RN Requirements:
  • Unencumbered and active North Carolina RN License
  • CPR Certification
  • Minimum of one year supervisory/management experience in a health related field required
  • Hospice care experience a plus
  • Must be comfortable with end of life care
  • A passion for the job and genuine desire to help others
  • Dependable, responsible, nurturing and caring attitude
  • Access to reliable transportation with a willingness to travel within Durham and the surrounding area.
  • Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid NC Driver's License
  • Ability to pass background checks and work-related references
