Job Description:
Duties: Participates in the implementation and support of
monitoring, scheduling, and automation solutions to address business
needs. Participates in defining and implementing highly complex
projects. Designs, develops, and implements various monitoring,
scheduling, and automation solutions. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops, enhances, implements, and supports multiple
monitoring and scheduling tools. • Builds end-to-end monitoring solution for critical
investments management application teams to monitor applications using a
variety of third-party and in-house monitoring, scheduling, and automation
tools. • Develops and implements new features to in-house
monitoring, automation, and scheduling tools. • Works directly with business users to define, interpret,
and clarify business requirements across monitoring and
scheduling platforms. • Develops business process workflow for Enterprise Infrastructure. • Coordinates with monitoring and scheduling vendors. • Participates in internal Go-automation campaign, promoting
and designing roadmaps for new automation initiatives across the organization. • Automates business/technical work by creating various
automation workflows to reduce manual effort. • Performs independent and complex technical development
and analysis for multiple automations using Shell, Perl, Visual
Basic, and PowerShell. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience providing production and operational support to
mission-critical client/server business applications within an enterprise
infrastructure; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of
experience providing production and operational support to
mission-critical client/server business applications within an enterprise
infrastructure. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DEâ€)
developing client/server fixed income investment management applications
including: monitoring and troubleshooting batch cycles to load data;
writing SQL scripts for data analysis; extraction and integration across
multiple data schemas using SQL developer/Rapid SQL; and performing
analysis and remediation of multiple batch cycles and business user
applications using JAWS and AutoSys; DE automating builds using Application Performance Interface
and automating Disaster Recovery procedures by building workflows
using HP Operation orchestration tools and Unix Shell/Windows
PowerShell scripting; DE providing infrastructure and application operations
support, including: providing end-to-end application support and
performance monitoring, using HP Sitescope, HP Business Service Management,
and Splunk, to analyze and validate systems components (correlation
and application scripts using Perl, Groovy Script, and DB packages)
and processes for incident triage; and defining Service Level
Agreement at the application level; DE developing and enhancing proprietary monitoring tools by
writing code in Windows and Unix environment; and developing Shell, Perl,
Visual Basic, PowerShell, and VuGen scripts to support application
