Job Description:

Duties: Works as a member of an integrated cross practice implementation

team responsible for the successful transition of data. Assures

adherence to established processes and procedures. Works closely with

the implementation team to ensure the successful conversion of data from

the client and/or prior record keeper(s). Performs data analysis on the

source data provided. Develops mapping and audit specifications. Writes

mapping and audit code. Utilizes general knowledge of cross practice

data implications. Analyzes data quality, reconciliation, and error

reports to identify and resolve issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gathers requirements from business and technical staff.

• Analyzes and translates data requirements in order to recommend

appropriate solutions.

• Presents solutions to project teams, data engineering team, and

architecture review boards.

• Integrates data into existing enterprise logical model and

physical data stores to avoid data redundancy.

• Ensures technical database decisions result in coherent system

designs.

• Uses modeling tool to capture clear definitions of data elements

and produces code to implement database changes.

• Implements data solutions to satisfy business requirements.

• Writes and maintains business rules, logic, and SQL queries.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, a Physical Science Discipline,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a

closely related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered

or three (3) years of experience in the entire Systems Development Life

Cycle Process (SDLC) and Real-Time System Implementation; Or

alternatively, Master degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, a Physical Science Discipline,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a

closely related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or

one (1) one year of experience in the entire Systems Development Life

Cycle Process (SDLC) and Real-Time System Implementation.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise “DE” in Data Loading

and Testing for Data Analysis and Relational DB Development;

DE writing stored procedures, scripts, and queries in Pervasive, SQL

Server, and SQL Advantage;

DE scoping data development projects including Human Resources, Time and

Technology Infrastructure requirements;

DE developing interface database tools and applications using Java

Script, VB script, ASP and JSP.
