Job Description:
Duties: Develops and supports Fidelity’s Platform as a Service
(PaaS) offerings, including shared Java applications and services,
analytics tools, scripting languages, common shared UI components, and
modules to support application development. Designs and implements software
and infrastructure for deployment using Java, XML, REST and object
oriented programming. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting
several divisional initiatives. • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. • Assists in the planning and conducting of user
acceptance testing. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple
applications supporting several corporate initiatives. • Responsible for post-installation testing of any
problems. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate
scope. • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of
a project. • Performs independent and complex technical and
functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several
initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience performing security-based server-side development of frameworks
and services within a high volume transaction processing
environment; Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of
experience in performing security-based server-side development of frameworks
and services within a high volume transaction processing
environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DEâ€)
developing platforms, technologies, and systems used for supporting
fine-grained authorization and authentication platforms, including building
and maintaining features, capabilities, and services that integrate
Oracle Fusion Middleware products to support Technology Risk
Management administration and asset management applications for access
controls and single sign-on; DE maintaining J2EE server performance,
caching, optimization, and tuning, including performing
multi-threaded programming utilizing JMeter, Dynatrace, and LoadRunner to
improve and manage performance across components that process high
volume transactions; and utilizing secure code scanning tools
(Veracode) to assess and remediate code flaws and vulnerabilities; DE
developing shared web applications/services using Java, Spring, jQuery,
JSON, AJAX, XML, SOAP, REST, and SQL/NoSQL-based database platforms; DE
developing web services according to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
principles and developing web-based applications using Angular,
