Job Description:
Position Description: Partners with product management, application architects, and
development manager to establish the vision, release, and delivery
of Application Programmer Interfaces (APIs). Performs test
automation for unit, functional, and non-functional testing
(SOATEST, SOASTA, and Cucumber). Provides analysis leadership on
complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and
companies, in a matrix organization. Consult with business users to
develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business
needs and opportunities. Primary Responsibilities: Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather
requirements, and analyzes technology needs and system and workflow
challenges. Develops recommendations that address difficult and complex
business needs and opportunities. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems
analysis projects, and defines project scope. Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and
complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents
created by other analysts. Designs new systems based on requirements. Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies, and
coordinates user acceptance testing efforts. Communicates progress of multiple projects to management,
engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations
of internal and external stakeholders. Serves as industry subject matter expert, and identifies other
subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for
large and complex projects. Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices
for systems analysis processes. Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business
impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the
production support organization. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies. Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on
systems analysis techniques and business workflows. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
performing system analysis and quality assurance (QA) automation in
an IT services or financial services environment, using UFT, Java,
Maven, Cucumber, and Serenity. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience performing system analysis and
quality assurance (QA) automation in an IT services or financial
services environment, using UFT, Java, Maven, Cucumber, and
Serenity. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing full-stack systems
analysis and design -- gathering requirements and documentation,
and performing data mining and functional design; and analyzing
system dependencies for Angular JS based User Interfaces (UIs),
Java Web services, and backend Oracle databases, using SQL queries,
PL/SQL blocks, APIs, and automation tools -- Protractor, Cucumber,
Karate, Selenium, and UFT. DE performing analysis and support of fund reporting and risk
analytics applications and platforms, using Angular, Java, and
Oracle. DE performing project scope planning and systems analysis --
creating technical system documentation, and performing
requirements elicitation, design, and development, quality
assurance testing, test automation, and production rollout of
high-scale, secure customer-facing websites -- according to Agile
methodologies, using Enterprise Jira, Microsoft Visio, SQL
Developer, HP UFT, Jenkins, uDeploy, Maven, and Datadog. DE performing business acceptance testing, using OBIEE, Oracle,
Java, Cucumber, Karate, Selenium, and Protractor; and performing
production sign-off for release deployments, triage, and root cause
analysis for production support incidents of application, using
