Job Description:
Develop User Interfaces using Siebel OPEN User Interface (UI)
Development (21.X), Web client, Server installation and
configuration, Siebel Enterprise Application Interface (EAI), and
Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM). Builds efficient database
processes using PL/SQL Stored Procedures containing Extract
Transform Load (ETL) functionality. Creates Windows batch scripts
and develops complex workflows for ETL processing using Informatica
PowerCenter. Coordinates code, build, release management, and
automation implementation processes using Git-stash, SourceTree,
Jenkins and uDeploy. Develops Shell Scripts for batch processing
and automates jobs using Control-M. Uses business knowledge to
translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business
solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications
and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends
changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and
strategies to development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application-level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
building and managing configuration platforms using Siebel OPEN UI
Development and Informatica in a Defined Benefits pension
domain. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience building and managing
configuration platforms using Siebel OPEN UI Development and
Informatica in a Defined Benefits pension domain. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing Siebel configuration
scripting, architecture design, workflow development, business
services design, coding, and customization using Siebel EAI and Web
services; and performing application integration with external Java
Applications using Sibel EAI, Web Services, Siebel OPEN UI, and
EIM. DE installing database, Siebel, and Windows servers --
configuring, patch management, version upgrades, repository
migration, troubleshooting, maintenance, SSO/LDAP authentication,
database refresh activity, and email profiles -- using Siebel
wizard, automated Oracle databases, and Shell scripts. DE performing data profiling, mining, specification, extraction,
cleansing, and analysis for large data warehouses using Sybase, SQL
MI, SQL Server, and Oracle; developing and building SQL code using
Git-stash; conducting release management using uDeploy and ICEM;
maintaining automation and implementation processes using
SourceTree and Jenkins; building shell scripts for automating batch
processing using Control M; and generating reports for the
consumers using SQL MI and Sybase Procedures. DE developing PL/SQL and T-SQL stored procedures; designing and
implementing data load processes to acquire vendor feeds from
Oracle 19c in Text, XML, and Excel file formats; loading data load
processes into a Sybase database (Sybase 16), using Informatica
(10.4.1) PowerCenter ETL (Designer, Workflow, Monitor), SQL*Loader,
Python scripting, and data integration tools; designing and
implementing real time data replication between systems using
Oracle Golden Gate; and deploying active setups, conflict
