Job Description:
Builds, deploys, and administers Windows and Linux servers in
traditional datacenters or Cloud -- IaaS and PaaS -- environments.
Contributes to delivery efforts -- performing use case analysis,
facilitating non-production validation, analyzing performance and
capacity impacts, and deploying solutions to production
environments with appropriate coordination and change control.
Supports and maintains production environments -- monitoring,
scaling, upgrading, automating, and analyzing metrics and trends.
Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional
initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or
multiple software applications and conducting studies of
alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project
development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to
development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
creating enterprise cyber security solutions using identity and
access products. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience creating enterprise cyber security
solutions using identity and access products. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) creating enterprise cyber security
solutions using identity and access products -- Ping Federate, Ping
Access, Ping Directory, Oracle Access Manager, and Okta; and
participating in the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)
-- building and supporting enterprise Web applications (using
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines)
and providing enterprise security solutions (using certificates,
hashing, and encryption). DE architecting and developing Risk Based Frameworks (RBF) and
critical High Availability (HA) platforms, using enterprise Single
Sign On (SSO) (for Web based applications) SAML 2.0, OAuth
2.0/OpenId Connect Protocols, and Authorization Policy; and
designing Web applications and ReSTful APIs using RBAC vendor
solutions from Ping, Oracle, and Azure AD. DE implementing Identity Directory Services using Ping and
Oracle LDAP Directory; designing and maintaining multi-master
highly scalable replicated directory deployments supporting
Disaster Recovery (DR) Directory; and developing custom
applications using LDAP libraries deployed on Cloud based
microservice platforms. DE developing and implementing enterprise applications using
modern Cloud based, on-premise API management systems and
Apigee/Axway API Gateway products; and solutioning secure,
scalable, and repeatable software deployment processes for identity
and access management APIs with enterprise wide quality assurance
checkpoints using microservices, Java, Spring Boot, Continuous
Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools, and AWS Cloud
