Job Description:
Position Description: Supports the design, development and installation of product
applications using J2EE technologies. Performs front-end
development, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/React.
Coordinates Web-based applications using Cloud technologies -
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. Provides business solutions by
developing complex or multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and
implementing internet and client/server applications in a financial
services environment. Or alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience analyzing, designing, developing,
testing, and implementing internet and client/server applications
in a financial services environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing highly secure,
distributed, low-latency, scalable Web applications within the
financial services industry, using Java and J2EE technologies
(Spring, Servlets, and JSP), Front end technologies (Angular,
JavaScript, and HTML), Web security technologies (OAuth and SAML),
Apache Camel, RESTful Web services, and Agile methodologies; and
performing unit testing of Web applications, using Jasmine, Junit,
and Karma open source frameworks. DE analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing
internet and client/server applications, using Java, Spring Boot,
Apache Kafka, Tomcat Server, Angular, Node and JavaScript;
gathering functional requirements, and analyzing and creating
algorithms and flowcharts to depict the overall flow of business
processes, using Microsoft Visio and Confluence; and creating
Splunk dashboards to provide data metrics, and analytical and
product usage information for business teams. DE creating and maintaining application release management,
using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
processes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Azure DevOps; providing
support to applications after release; analyzing and resolving
end-user bugs by debugging code, using Eclipse and Visual Studio;
and analyzing error logs to locate the origin of bugs/problems and
resolve them without impacting other modules. DE providing production issue resolutions for business-critical
applications, using Jenkins and UDeploy; and working on a
full-stack engineering team -- developing, designing, analyzing,
testing, and validating distributed applications and building CI/CD
processes, using Jenkins, Maven, Stash, uDeploy, Splunk, Datadog
and Artifactory, and developing comprehensive documentation for
