Job Description:

Engineers, deploys, supports, and maintains vendor product solutions in the areas of Single Sign On (SSO), Web services API authorization, and two-factor authentication. Implements risk-based access controls in deploying Web and non-Web based enterprise applications, using SAML, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, OAuth, and cryptographic standards and capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Implements enterprise-wide Web application security solutions within a financial services and products environment.

Integrates security applications with directory services within databases.

Performs code integration, develops scripts, and implements version control.

Performs PKI encryption to ensure Web application security.

Documents security requirements and controls -- researching standards, conducting security and vulnerability analysis, identifying integration issues, and performing risk assessments and cost/benefit analysis.

Verifies engineering solutions by developing and executing use case analysis, test case automation and verification, and performance scripts.

Develops original and creative technical solutions to support on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects involving multiple platforms and supporting a range of divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications in support of corporate initiatives.

Performs post-installation testing to identify and resolve technical problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Develops technical modules in support complex assignments and multi-phase projects.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.

Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need.

Develops software system testing and validation procedures, programs, and documentation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing, developing, and supporting identity and access management solutions for enterprise cybersecurity within a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience designing, developing, and supporting identity and access management solutions for enterprise cybersecurity within a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) installing, configuring, and supporting large scale (30+ servers across regional datacenters) Single Sign On (SSO) installations that provide SSO services using vendor products -- PingAccess, PingFederate and Azure SSO -- within a financial services environment.

DE implementing risk-based access controls by configuring and providing SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, Kerberos, and security standards and capabilities to business technology teams and applications.

DE integrating SSO applications with directory services (Active Directory and Oracle Directory Services), common database environments (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, and Cassandra), Web servers (including IIS, Apache, ISH, and NodeJS), and application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, and Websphere).

DE deploying application infrastructure in Cloud environments (Amazon Web Services and Azure), and developing Cloud process automation, using Ansible, Jenkins, and Concourse.
