Job Description:

Designs, builds, and deploys applications in a DevOps environment, using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy. Defines and develops applications for product suites, using Java, Spring, MVC Architecture, jQuery, and Angular 4. Develops and delivers quality Web software components and applications in a service-oriented architecture. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience developing Web Applications, using Java Security and Common Infrastructure (JSCI) Libraries and DP common libraries (dp-camel-core and dp-camel-rest) within the financial industry.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience developing Web Applications, using Java Security and Common Infrastructure (JSCI) Libraries and DP common libraries (dp-camel-core and dp-camel-rest) within the financial industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and developing customer facing, enterprise Web applications, using Java/J2EE and Spring; designing, coding, and reviewing high quality solutions in Java and JavaScript technologies for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based applications; consuming and developing APIs using Spring REST; and performing unit test, using Junit, Mockito, Jasmin, and Karma.

DE designing and developing digital user experiences using modern JS frameworks -- React JS/Angular JS and Vue JS for Single Page Applications (SPAs); developing reusable, robust, and dynamic Angular Web components for plug and play scenarios; troubleshooting and repairing native JavaScript Web applications, using Augury, Splunk, and IDE; and developing Web pages to support digital experiences across internet browsers -- Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari -- on desktops, mobile, tablets, and laptops devices, using JavaScript, Vue JS, Polymer JS, HTML5, and CSS3.

DE developing distributed, low-latency, high throughput applications, using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by relying on GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, Udeploy, Test Driven Development (TDD), Cloud Technologies (AWS), and Agile methodologies.

DE designing and developing customer facing enterprise Web applications, using Java and J2EE technologies (Spring, Struts, Servlets, JSP, and JSTL), Web security technologies (OAuth, SAML, and OIDC), Apache Camel, SOAP/RESTful Web services, Java Security and Common Infrastructure (JSCI) Libraries, and DP common libraries (dp-camel-core and dp-camel-rest) within the financial services industry.
