Job Description:
Develops Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
(CI/CD) pipelines to migrate Amazon Web Services (AWS) components
(Lambda, S3, EMR, Cloud Watch, SNS topics, Web services, and
Angular apps), using Enterprise cybersecurity policies and
established Cloud computing protocols. Develops custom products to
acquire time series and static reference data and provide
analytical solutions to operations using Cloud native technologies
-- EMR, Spark, and Livy. Provides business solutions by developing
complex software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience developing custom products to acquire time series and
static reference data using AWS technologies in financial services
industry. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience developing custom products to acquire
time series and static reference data using AWS technologies in
financial services industry. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and implementing data
solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), using EMR, Cloud Formation
Templates, Lambda, S3 and RDS, and integrating those components
with X-RAY and Jenkins. DE executing performance tuning and testing of RESTful services
for high performance, scalability, maintainability, and testability
using SOAPUI; and providing post-production support and incident
management, using ServiceNow and JIRA. DE implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
(CI/CD) using DevOps tools -- Bitbucket, Jenkins, Udeploy,
Concourse, and Veracode; and performing release activities --
managing Scope (using JIRA), change management (using ServiceNow),
preparing release/install plans, and deployments to production
(using Udeploy). DE procuring large-volume data sets from market data providers
and custom processing them to create consumable data, using EMR,
