Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Biochemical Engineering, Engineering, Information

Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of
experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
developing responsive and progressive modern Web and mobile first
applications in an Agile environment.
Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Biochemical Engineering,
Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Information
Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one
(1) year of experience in the job offered or (1) one year of
experience developing responsive and progressive modern Web and
mobile first applications in an Agile environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and developing responsive
and mobile first applications and Web components for wealth
management solutions, using Angular, iOS, and Android platforms
with NodeJS API development frameworks in an Agile environment.
DE developing customer facing Java and J2EE Web applications and
services, using Spring MVC/Boot, Backbone JS, Java 8 Open API YAML
standards, and Maven; performing continuous integration and
deployment, using Jenkins Groovy pipeline and IBM UrbanCode; and
performing docker containerization for deployment on Linux Virtual
Machines and Amazon Web Services EC2 instances.
DE designing and developing enterprise scale wealth management
APIs, using RESTful standards, NodeJS, Spring Boot, open API, and
GraphQL to ensure Cloud readiness best practices.
DE performing manual and automated testing of Web applications
and REST services within a financial services industry -- financial
planning and asset liquidation and trading -- using Protractor,
Cucumber, Karma, Jasmine, Rest Assured, Junit, Selenium, and
Jenkins; and creating Web application performance improvements,
using Java memory profiling and Web page testing tool.
