Job Description:The Role
The Vice President, Execution Investment Operations will be
accountable for providing leadership over multiple operational
teams. The VP will play a significant role in coordinating the
day-to-day monitoring and recordkeeping of managed-accounts,
including the capital call process for alternative investments held
in these accounts, the day-to-day operations of the Pooled Income
Fund program ('PIF'), operational improvement in execution
definition and implementation, critical issue management and
capacity planning for future growth of accounts and assets. This
position is a member Fidelity Charitable s Service this role will
lead key initiatives across the service and operations
organization, from both planning execution and perspective.
Delivery & Operations organization and will report directly to the
Head of Service. Overall, the role involves leading the daily
operations and record keeping of managed-accounts, alternative
investment money movement and planning and execution as well as all
related activity associated with the PIF program. The role will
also work closely with multiple Vice President level leaders across
the business unit.\u00A0The Expertise and Skills You
Bring\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Responsible for
coordinating the daily operational work and providing a point of
escalation for their teams, resolving risk incidents and/or audit
findings, collaborating across the organization to implement and
improve workflows, and developing the strategy and capacity plan
for each team.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Be
responsible for the Portfolio Operations team s daily monitoring of
investment activity in managed-accounts, maintenance of accurate
position and transaction records in internal and external systems,
managed-account set-up, and the identification and communication of
managed-account contributions. In addition, the team is responsible
for proxy voting reconciliation and providing audit support for the
managed-account programs of Fidelity
Charitable.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Lead all
aspects of the Alternative Investments team s communication and
reconciliation of subscription, redemption, capital call and
distribution activity, along with the calculation and tracking of
valuation updates. The candidate will be directly involved with
reporting out daily wire activity and new money movement requests
to Investments team counterparts and senior
leaders.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Oversee the PIF
Operations team, which handles donor and income beneficiary
inquiries, quarterly income distributions, additional
contributions, along with account maintenance, updates and closures
and provide audit support to the internal
partners.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Lead and
coordinate all planning activities across the manor 3 Operations
teams, track and report on initiatives progress and work to resolve
any outstanding issues.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0
Identify, evaluate, coordinate, and implement cross-functional
operational improvements.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0
Collaborate cross-functionally to minimize risk and ensure sound
operational processes exist and are accurately
documented.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Lead critical
vendor relationships, including creation of performance scorecards,
purchase orders and issues, in partnership with corporate
procurement.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Build and
manage relationships with operational contacts at external
custodians of Fidelity Charitable s donor-advised funds (as part of
the Charitable Investment Advisor Program) to ensure complete and
accurate data is provided to
Advent.\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Undergraduate
degree required; MBA
preferred\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Minimum of 15
years of career experience, which should include a successful
record of leading operational teams, project/product management
experience, and operational improvement
experience\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 10+ experience
building and leading investment operations and/or operations
teams\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 5+ years of people
management experience, including managing other people

investment competence
