JOB OVERVIEW
Kaiyuh Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Food Services Manager to join our team. This position manages and coordinates the food services operation and activities of an institutional cafeteria by providing high quality, nutritious food and food services while doing their best to optimize profit for their company and create the best dining experience possible for customers. This position is located in Durham, NC.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Estimates food consumption, and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies
• Supervises cooking and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignments to ensure economical and timely food production
• Hires staff, schedules employee hours, and trains staff on proper food preparation, cooking methods, and proper and legal alcoholic beverage service kitchen safety techniques
• Confers and cooperates with management personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures
• Works and develops relationships with suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry, and receives the service required to ensure that the operational team can deliver the highest quality product and the highest financial return
• Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for food services; and assures optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel
• Other duties as assigned ABOUT YOU
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Food Services Project Manager or Chef in the commercial food service operation
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prepare, and serve meals
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience in public relations and be able to deal with the public and employees in a courteous and tactful manner
  • Experience in food service operations and be fully knowledgeable about local, state, and federal health codes and requirements
