Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily laboratory operations and ensure that all laboratory activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Supervise laboratory staff and provide leadership and direction to ensure that all laboratory activities are performed accurately and efficiently.
• Manage laboratory budget and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary limits.
• Ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated according to regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement laboratory safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
• Provide technical expertise in molecular biology and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare reports as required.
• Participate in the development and implementation of research projects. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Technology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of CLIA/CAP laboratory processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory or Molecular Biology laboratory setting.
  • Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.
  • Experience with supervisory and leadership roles (at least 2+ years).
  • Knowledge of HIPPA regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
