  Attend required meetings and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetings

  Address human resources and staff concerns

  Ensure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriately

  Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
  
  
• 
  Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues
  
  
• 
  Communicate with staff to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestions
  
  
• 
  Analyze and understand labor market information, especially as it pertains to the needs and skills of Veterans
  
  
  Required Experience:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Must have 1-3 years of business, training, teaching, or sales experience
    
    
  • 
    Preferred skills and experience in providing career development assistance
    
    
  • 
    A working knowledge of MS Office products
    
    
  • 
    Previous management experience with comparable project size
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Veterans or military policies recommended
    
    
  • 
    Able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
    
    
  • 
    Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and vehicle required
    
    
    Preferred Education:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree in business, education, human services, or related area is preferred
