Position Summary
The Vice President, Global Supply Chain is accountable for driving
results in a fast-paced environment by managing warehousing,
logistics, inventory control, supply chain, production planning,
purchasing and procurement as well as performance metric tracking.
This position will be based in RTP and have direct supply chain
responsibility for the RTP site and global oversight responsibility
for the other Alcami sites. She/He works collaboratively with
internal key stakeholders including Project Management, Quality,
Manufacturing, Micro Lab, Analytical Labs, Planning and
Procurement, Visual Inspection, Packaging, Business Development,
Finance and Commercial. The Vice President partners with the
Commercial team to understand customer demand and milestone
proposals and is the main point of contact for Sales and Operations
Planning (S&OP) matters. The position requires superior

non-negotiables, as well as functional expertise including cGMP,
accounting practices, procurement process, inventory management,
specification generation and initiation of vendor qualification
process and vendor management.
Essential Functions
--- Leads sales and operations planning (S&OP) globally and at
the RTP site across all functions.
--- Creates and executes the raw material and component inventory
strategy for all sites.
--- Contributes substantially to the implementation of a new ERP
system.
--- Creates and sustains operational excellence operational metric
tracking system.
--- Oversees the site warehousing and shipping operations, ensuring
compliance with cGMPs, regulatory requirements and all other
relevant company training requirements.
--- Develops, manages, and oversees the product schedule
adherence.
--- Maintains strong vendor relationships and communications to
support procurement.
--- Responsible for sourcing and obtaining chemicals, equipment,
services, and supplies.
--- Monitors the cost, schedule, and performance aspects of major
vendors.
--- Oversees the daily operations of the warehousing function to
assure compliance to Alcami and regulatory standards.
--- Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all
other relevant company training requirements.
--- Attracts, develops, and retains a high performing team to meet
the current and evolving needs of the business through effective
selection, training and development, coaching and mentoring and
performance management.
Education and Experience
--- Bachelor's degree required; Business, Science, engineering or
related field preferred.
--- Master's degree or PhD preferred.
--- 8 years of related experience required; 12 years preferred.
--- Prior pharmaceutical experience required; CDMO experience
preferred.
--- APICS certification preferred.

Functional Competencies
--- Knowledge of cGMP, pharmaceuticals, accounting practices,
inventory management, production software, CRM and ERP systems
required. Prior experience with AX preferred.
--- Knowledge of vendor qualification process, CAPAs, and
manufacturing preferred.

skills required.
--- Excellent detail orientation, verbal and written
