Job Description:
Position OverviewThe Senior Manager, IT Operations and
Engineering, will be responsible for leading a team to deliver
technical operational support and IT consulting and advisory
services to our clients. - This individual will have strong
knowledge of and broad experience with IT operations, core
technology components (e.g., networking, database management,
server infrastructure, storage systems, and backup systems), and
cloud computing. - The Senior Manager will have demonstrated
experience leading teams to deploy global enterprise applications
and/or infrastructures leveraging best in class solutions; the
ability to draw out customer needs and deliver practical outcomes
addressing those needs; and demonstrated understanding of standard
frameworks and methodologies including Information Technology
Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
Performance ObjectivesBuild and lead a team of engineers /
consultants who provide high-quality, cost-effective technical
solutions and services to CREO's global clients. Continuously
improve CREO's IT operations offerings by introducing and improving
ITSM best practices and use of technology standards, including
writing policies and procedures; monitoring service performance;
enhancing the service design / model; and collaborating with the
Chief Enterprise Architect to establish technology playbooks.
Develop new business opportunities by building relationships with
existing and potential clients, creating proposals and SOWs,
speaking at industry events, writing articles, and participating in
other commercial activities.Evaluate needs, develop technical
solutions, and advise clients in how to leverage best-of-class
technology to meet their business objectives and complete critical
initiatives (such as post-acquisition integration, new laboratory /
facility build-out, and geographic expansion).Collaborate with
cross-functional internal delivery teams and client staff to
execute projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality
standards.Serve as a key member of the operational leadership team
supporting internal improvement initiatives and achieving growth
and performance objectives. - - -ExperienceThe following are
