Operations Manager


Responsibilities

• 
  
• The Operations/Site Manager is accountable for all safety related matters and is supported by the HSE function
  
• Will be responsible for quality of all produced materials that leave the site
  
• Leads the Operations Management Team which enables team cohesiveness, progress and goal achievement
  
• Owns overall production responsibility for the site and is supported by the Production Manager, Quality Manager, Maintenance, and Technology/R&D Engineering
  
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical discipline, preferably Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
    
  • 10 to 15 years Manufacturing Experience preferred (textiles/ extrusion/polymer, continuous process, ISO is ideal)
    
  • People developer / mentor - minimum of 5-10 years leading teams
    
  • Experience managing cross functional teams
    
  • Financial knowledge/skills to steer site performance
    
  • Excellent communication skills with flexible leadership approach
    
  • A proven driver of change and bridge builder between people and Functions
    
  • Decisive facilitator and problem solver with motivation to act
