vision, and a human-centered culture. Position Summary:The Manager
of Medical Affairs Lifecycle Management manages a team of Lifecycle
managers assigned to each of the major diagnostic product lines to
create and grow an overall diagnostic product portfolio strategy.
This role works to leverage product strategy in informing the
overall corporate strategy through development, evidence
generation, regulatory submissions and management of product
roadmaps. The role works cross-functionally across the
organization, including Research & Development, Clinical
Development, Global Medical Affairs, Operations, Marketing and
Sales, in implementing and achieving adopted strategies, vision,
and goals for optimizing the portfolio.Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and execute a robust, integrated and cohesive
strategy for the overall diagnostic portfolio, which includes US
input into individual product global lifecycle strategies to ensure
growth and meet commercial needs.
- Provide strategic leadership to the team of Lifecycle Leaders
who define product vision, strategic direction of the Lifecycle
Team, and oversee product success from development through
commercialization.
- Guide cross-portfolio product strategies, identifying
efficiencies and opportunities across diagnostic Lifecycle Teams,
ensuring cohesive and integrated plans at the portfolio level, and
developing a portfolio approach to understanding the patient
journey.
- Partner with applicable teams and serve as a member of
applicable leadership teams to ensure that innovation, market
knowledge, strategic insight and customer focus are sufficiently
integrated into all products.
- Ensure Lifecycle Teams produce timely development plans,
commercial assessment insights, strategic options and
recommendations to the US leadership team and Global Product
Strategy teams regarding products and their market potential to
enable cross-portfolio decision making.
- Meet with the Executive Team and functional leaders to
influence across the organization.
- Mentor, direct, and evaluate the performance of direct
reports.Studies and Experience:
- Advanced Science Degree, such as MD, PharmD, or PhD is
preferred or health science BS degree, with 10+ years of
multidisciplinary work experience in the diagnostic, pharmaceutical
and/or biotechnology industries, with management experienceSkills
and Qualifications:
- Experience with lifecycle planning and management, including
evidence generation strategies to support new claims
indications
- Knowledge of the global infectious disease diagnostic testing
business with regard to R&D, product development, regulatory
issues, commercialization, reimbursement initiatives and industry
trends
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and
interdependently in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a matrix with internal stakeholders (ie.,
R&D, Clinical Affairs, Global Medical Affairs, Regulatory
Affairs, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to achieve a common goal
- Proactive, self-motivated, and aware of larger business
needs/implications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including
the ability to clearly communicate business processes and
solutions
- Commitment to manage and adhere to all company policies,

regulations
