About This RoleThe Learning Partner (LP) for Patient Services applies their learning expertise and business knowledge to develop and deploy a learning strategy which drives performance and measurable business outcomes for the Patient Services organization, in line with the function's organizational objectives and business priorities. This role is also responsible for the direct management, performance, and results of the Patient Services Learning team who design, develop, and implement meaningful and sustainable learning programs which increase the skills, knowledge and performance of our patient facing teams. This includes all new hire training, ongoing and advanced training, product launches, operational processes which employ blended learning approaches including e-learning, virtual and/or live instructor-led programs.The LP builds and sustains relationships with key stakeholders within Patient Services, serving as a true partner to the business; applying comprehensive business drivers and key factors that maximize department/business performance, conducts performance analyses and root cause analyses, communicates insights, interprets business challenges and selects appropriate solutions (learning or otherwise) to achieve performance goals. The LP evaluates results against organizational goals, adapting and refining learning plans, as needed. The LP for Patient Services will be responsible for developing the short and long-term learning strategy, tactical plan, and resource model to effectively support the onboarding, knowledge/ skill development, deployment and ongoing training of the PS teams. The role supports the learning for disease, product and operational procedures (eg: benefits verification, financial assessment, case management) for the patient facing teams. The LP will partner with key internal stakeholders to understand the timing of future initiatives and learning needs, allocating resources to align with business objectives and annual plans. The LP will work with the US Commercial Learning Team and the Patient Services Extended Leader Team to develop the learning plan and enable successful patient support and engagement.What You'll Do• Lead the Patient Services Learning Team with direction, coaching, career development to support their growth and development in their individual learning roles.• Cultivate deep business knowledge and partnerships to inform the development of the learning strategy in support of near and long team needs of PS teams.• Lead the teams who design, develop, and implement meaningful and sustainable learning programs which increase the skills, knowledge and performance of our patient facing teams. This includes all new hire training, ongoing and advanced training, product launches, operational processes which employ blended learning approaches including e-learning, virtual and/or live instructor-led programs.• Partner with Global Learning and OE functions to leverage appropriate learning content (eg: leadership, coaching, DE&I, etc) to support the PS organization• Ensures ongoing training and development meets is developed & delivered effectively using adult learning principles and instructional design principles• Work closely with full US Commercial Learning Team to leverage resources and collaborate to achieve departmental goals and objectives.• Assess learning needs and devise flexible, scalable solutions to create demonstrable business impact. Measure and report results and adapt as necessary• Partner and influence subject matter experts and resources, both internally and externally, to implement and deploy learning solutions• Provide administrative oversight, manage budgets and timelines and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and SOPs• Be accountable for building a concrete understanding of Biogen's stance and efforts around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as well as integrate DE&I strategies into the talent lifecycle (e.g. talent management, hiring, compensation)• Actively participate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, such as Employee Resource Networks programming, to reinforce HR's commitment to an inclusive, engaging environment Qualifications

• 10-12 years professional experience is required. Knowledge or experience in Patient Services or call center environments preferred• Learning experience is desired• People Leadership experience preferred• Understanding of Adult Learning Principles• Strong executive presence and presentation skills to interact appropriately with all levels of the organization.• Proven experience fostering teamwork and collaboration, promotes teamwork within and across groups.• Demonstrated ability to influence others and accomplish goals within a matrixed environment.• Understands and implements change strategy; helps leadership navigate change and achieve sustainable performance.• Results oriented with excellent decision-making skills. • Ability and experience in building short- and long-term learning strategies that align to business imperatives• Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion• Budget management with on time & on budget deliverables of learning objectivesEducation: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredWhy Biogen?
