Job Title: Manager, Operations I (WWOPS-INCR-05252022-003)

Introduction:

This position is for a department manager of the Depot Repair and Logistics. Depot activity supports numerous retail enterprise customers in the US providing repair and logistics support of both Toshiba and OEM point of sale products. This position will be responsible for repair processes, logistics activity and overall daily operations associated with the Depot. This position includes new business development, recruiting/interviewing/hiring, performance management, and providing day-to-day leadership to the team to optimize performance, morale and retention. The Manager Operations I will be responsible for meeting all repair, logistics and inventory objectives, and will direct deployment of resources as well as any overtime or resource-sharing necessary to meet business objectives. Manager Operations I will be responsible for primary business and KPI metrics used to monitor and maintain satisfactory service delivery. This manager will report to the Senior Business Operations Manager, and work closely with them on daily production goals, new business growth, RFP response and process development and improvement. The Manager Operations I will be a sound decision maker in a dynamic, fast moving business tied to meeting financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily depot repair, logistics and other supporting activity.
  • Manages staff scheduling and resources to insure seamless execution of depot volumes. Leads daily huddles providing guidance and feedback to work cell leads.
  • Drives continuous improvement in all depot and logistics activities through lean practices, KPI's and department metrics. Monitors overall process health and operational performance.
  • Defines and enforces department safety standards. Supports safe operations throughout the facility.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    Required Skills:
    • Bachelors of Business, Engineering or Equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years in Shipping/Receiving, Service Delivery, Logistics or Supply Management.
    • Prior business operations leadership and results-driven.
    • Strong people skills including communications, listening, leadership and leading by example.
    • Ability to delegate and communicate clearly is key in this position.
    • Ability to work 9:45am-6:30pm Shift
      Preferred Skills:
      • Knowledge of Oracle WMS Warehouse Manager Software
      • Freight/Docking experience.
