Job Description:

Do: Directs the Learning Design function in the execution of the
Association's Learning Strategy and ensures learning and assessment
solutions are designed to meet the quality, cost, and expectations
established through the Go-To-Market Value Proposition, defined
Client and Partner Services (CaPs) requests, or other Learning
strategic initiatives that support members and clients to improve
their skills, perform better and advance their careers. Key
Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of Learning Design professionals globally
- Strategically engages with leadership, clients, advisory
boards, and key stakeholders to create and refine the learning
design and assessment strategy, and major learning programs
including pathways to specialized credentials, badges, and
certificates.
- Liaises with regulatory agency (NASBA) to align with and
influence CPE standards for the accounting profession.
- Ensures that learning solutions include content that is
designed and developed meeting quality and compliance
standards.
- Drive learning design strategy to meet the Association's Go to
Market Value Propositions and support key Association
initiatives
- Provide direction in alignment with learning design strategy to
influence outcomes that maximize quality, efficiency and
costs.
- Champions innovative design of blended learning experiences,
that are high quality, personalized and streamlined to drive new
business models across a variety of modalities and
technology-enhanced initiatives that achieve outcomes, drive
positive behavior change, and solve business needs.
- Drives the use of the latest learning technology systems and
tools (i.e. VR, AR, AI, chat bots, social, adaptive, mobile,
just-in-time initiatives) into the learning products roadmap.
- Evaluates, tests, and ensures learning design solutions reflect
best practices in learner and user experience and adult learning
theory by monitoring the latest trends, technologies, and tools
globally and incorporating them accordingly. About You:
- Demonstrated people management and leadership skills
- Self-starter, strategic thinker and strong results orientation
with the ability to direct the management of multiple projects and
initiatives of notable complexity and risk under tight
deadlines
- Ability to apply high-level knowledge of educational theory and
best practices in learning content creation
- Ability to influence without authority and collaborate
cross-functionally in a matrix organisation
- Able to identify and adopt evolving trends to best inform
learning design decisions
- Strong business acumen with a market-focused approach to
business, and understanding of what drives product
profitability
- Ability to lead through change, adversity, uncertainty Required
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, education or psychology
- Minimum 8 years of experience leading learning design
teams
- Business and financial acumen
- Market and commercial orientation
- Design thinking experience with learning solutions Preferred
Experience:
- Experience in learning design in a commercial learning
environment.
- 10+ years of experience leading learning design teams
- Accounting and/or finance subject matter expertise in at least
one of the learning curriculums served, such as A/A, Tax, Ethics,
EBP/Government, Valuation/Forensics Who We Are:
