Genuent is hiring a Vendor Performance Manager for our direct client. This is a fully-remote, long-term contract position with a tentative start date. Vendor Performance Manager The Vendor Performance Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate status and health of vendor performance. This role will be responsible for ensuring vendors meet or exceed contracted service commitments, measuring performance against operational Service Level Agreements (SLA) and coordinating vendor activity to meet current and future operational requirements and project needs in alignment with IT and Corporate goals. Responsibilities: Resource Management Responsible for managing process associated with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of consultants and contingent labor Manages timesheet and invoice process associated with the above Responsible for developing and managing Rate Cards associated with consultants and contingent labor Manages issues associated with contingent labor and resourcing Vendor Governance Develop appropriate level of formal Governance with those vendors Establish appropriate level of vendor meetings/calls Establish and manage ongoing Issue and Dispute resolution process Work with Stakeholders to collect information and understand vendor performance Conduct Vendor Performance reviews (e.g., QBRs, Scorecards) and work with vendors to commit to performance improvements Share vendor performance results with Stakeholders for feedback into ongoing sourcing strategy and decisions Performance and Risk Management Manage and Track vendor obligations including Deliverables, Milestones, Timeline and other commitments Manage and Track vendor operational performance, including SLAs, KPIs and other documented metrics Designs and develops action plans for specific improvements- Reviews vendor performance with stakeholders and Vendors/VMO Develops and manages action plans to address Vendor performance issues and concerns Understands risks presented by Vendors and/or changes in the vendor/service landscape and escalates those issues to appropriate Stakeholders Tools and Reporting Publishes and distribution of reports stakeholders Modifies existing and creating new reports and reporting formats Conducts quarterly reviews with Stakeholders for quality and usefulness of reporting and identification of gaps to be addressed Trains managers on how to use reporting of data trends as a business management tool, how to use or customize a dashboard for providing real time status and how do to simple ad hoc queries Creates and distributes reports, measurements and tools to internal and external constituents as appropriate Automate core operational and executive management reports including dashboards and scorecards Experience / Skills: 5 to 10 years of experience as a Vendor Performance Manager Ability to act independently, quickly and decisively with a proactive mindset Proven ability to work in collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external service providers, building and developing effective service provider and client relationships Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate at various levels within the organization and with external parties Ability to understand and analyze the status and health of vendor agreements and present it in a clear and concise manner Excellent influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent organization and analytical skills Global teaming and remote collaboration Understanding of ITIL framework
