As healthcare services continue to move out of the hospital and into the home, Validic-- is powering the rapid scale of digital health programs for national and regional Health Plans (Payers). Our platform and mobile solutions offer Payers continuous access to member-generated data from nearly 500 home-use medical devices and wearables. With these data, Health Plans are developing personalized member health experiences, supporting timely clinical interventions, and creating robust population datasets.-- Validic has successfully launched and scaled programs for seven of the ten largest U.S. Payers ---with room to grow inside and outside of these organizations. In 2018, the company released a remote patient monitoring (RPM) solution, built on its core platform, to administer and support comprehensive virtual care programs; this solution now powers the largest centralized RPM program in the country. Validic supports hundreds of clients across healthcare, boasts multiple awards for its products, and is working on additional product launches for 2021.-- We're seeking a Senior Sales Director, who is responsible for driving the relationship and sales process in new accounts through a combination of virtual and direct sales methods. This individual must articulate how the Company's solutions can help the potential client meet key corporate and strategic objectives through presentations, proposals, contracting, and business development to effectively close the opportunity. What You'll Do at Validic

  • Oversee end-to-end sales process, which includes identifying, pursuing, and closing new business in a quota carrying capacity
  • Serve as a consultant for target organizations and establish key relationships with leadership and decision makers at large Payers to guide them through the sales process
  • Prospect for new business, which includes creative outbound tactics and strategies for following up with leads generated through marketing activity
  • Demonstrate process effectiveness by continually qualifying sales opportunities, assessing prospect readiness, managing the procurement and contracting process and identifying and resolving barriers
  • Build and maintain sales pipeline to support overachievement of established sales objectives
  • Demonstrate the Company's and technology's value and align the technology's current and future capabilities with the client's business requirements through compelling and effective sales presentations ---both in-person and virtually
  • Share prospect feedback with the Product team for feature requests to be added to and prioritized appropriately on the Roadmap
  • Coordinate with the Implementation, Sales Operations and Client Success teams to transition and onboard new clients
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to target key leaders at key accounts through event and digital campaigns
  • Continuously maintain industry best-practices for sales, understand key trends in the Payer space, and stay up to date on product releases, the client's needs, and market competition
  • Utilize customer relationship management software and manage key accounts by maintaining accurate documentation and properly logging sales activity
    What You'll Bring to Validic
    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required
    • At least ten years of quota carrying SaaS, analytics platforms or platform sales experience in the Payer market
    • Experience selling to organizations participating in risk and value-based care arrangements is strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding and a history of high performance in the Payer market with a proven track record of exceeding quota
    • Extensive relationships with executive leaders at Payer organizations, including C-levels, VPs, SVPs, Directors, Presidents, General Managers, etc.
    • Competitive spirit and achievement-driven, with a "can-do" attitude and desire to overachieve
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and other pertinent business systems
    • Ability to speak publicly and effectively demonstrate the company's and technology's value through virtual and in-person demo presentations
    • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Demonstrated ability to self-manage and address multiple priorities at once
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to effectively create and manage pipeline
    • Excellent influencing and consultative selling skills
    • Ability to proactively identify and resolve potential barriers and challenges in a sales relationship
    • Action-oriented, with a willingness to contact new prospects or drive current prospects to closure
    • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity

      Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
      Status: Full-Time/Exempt
      Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in a variety of environments with multiple distractions. Must be able to travel 30% or more. Relocation assistance not provided. - No recruiters, please.
