Job Title: Services Delivery Manager (PMO)
The Services Delivery Manager (PMO) will be responsible for leading
a team of highly skilled direct reports, including project
managers, programmers and architects, towards the development and
support of TGCS strategic products for the worldwide retail market.
The Manager will also be a member of the cross-functional team
responsible for planning, developing and releasing the hardware
products to the market. He will develop and nurture key
relationships with product management, business partners, services,
finance, procurement and other supporting groups to ensure the
timely release of solutions that will fully satisfy demanding
customer expectations. The Manager will provide team leadership to
3-4 missions/functions, managing larger team sizes of junior to
advanced skilled professionals and teams leads. This position
requires people management experience, proven knowledge of hardware
development processes and program management skills to drive
cross-functional team activities with the understanding of
requirements and business drivers for the new products and
- Lead mid-size teams of junior to experienced project managers
with a focus on 3 to 4 Missions/functions directly or via team
leads. Delivery of high-quality product releases and functionality.
Successfully manage and coordinate complex, multi-phased programs
by guiding cross-functional teams and business partners to define,
scope, plan, and deliver high-quality hardware products. Manage the
performance of the development team ensuring product commitments
are met with respect to quality, budget, and schedule.
- Strategic Promote continuous process improvement and sound
hardware engineering practices across a global team that will
enable the development and support of an innovative product.
Ensuring Agile practices are applied and followed. Identify and
resolve problems, gaps, and challenges in hardware engineering
- Act as the single point of contact for all project activities,
schedule, and status. Ensuring proper communication on development
deliverables as appropriate up through executive management levels
within the organization.
- Enabling the sharing of best practices across a global
development team. Foster an environment of collaboration, trust,
and accountability for departmental and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent
- Extensive experience in managing development teams and
- 4+ years people management experience including performance
management, motivation, career development and dealing with
- 6+ years managing development projects. Strong Team Leadership
- Good analytic and logical problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaborative and teaming skills.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile development.
- Product knowledge in the area of Retail and Point-of-Sale
applications will be a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in
- Domain Knowledge of Retail Products and Solutions
