Job SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) with outstanding communication skills. The primary responsibility will be to work with the business team and drive the project plan to completion. The Project Manager will work with the PMO and stakeholders to assure project delivery dates are met and any/all risks are mitigated as appropriate not to impact the timeline. The PM will coordinate all tasks, maintain current scope, manage timelines, maintain a project plan and communicate status to key stakeholders, project sponsors and senior management.Specialty Skills, Experiences and ResponsibilitiesExperienced in working on a large projectCreate and manage the detailed implementation schedule of a large projectIdentify and track project risks and issues, as well as define mitigation and contingency plans.Regular communication of project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders.Serve as the gatekeeper for communication materials.Ensure the delivery of an end product capable of achieving the agreed and defined business requirements to customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction (stakeholders). Have strong understanding of business and technical problems that teams are solving and be able to work with stakeholders and teams to prioritize, clarify, and organize work based on this knowledge.Manage data integration and data conversion.Project PlanningLead requirements gathering sessions with technology and business stakeholdersDrive a technology assessment based on the outcome of the requirements gatheringCoordinate all key project meetings, phone calls, meeting rooms, etc.Develop and get signoff on the Project Strategy document, the "plan of plans", including, but not limited to, the communications plan, project team structure, recurring meeting (including steering) frequency, etc.Develop a project timeline / schedule using Microsoft Project, following all BT standards, working with the appropriate BT teams (e.g. Application Engineering, Information Management, Infrastructure, Security, etc.), vendor teams, and business teamsEnsure all required deliverables as set forth in the overall project scheduleAs necessary for applicable projects, collaborate with Compliance to ensure the system's validation, SOX, or other regulatory needs are assessed and definedPrepare for, and conduct, project kickoff presentationBegin preparations for Service Readiness Planning (handoffs to Production Support) at the onset of the projectProject ExecutionManage overall scope of projects as defined in the project charter, including the scope, schedule, financials, etc. of any project-related SoWEffectively manage all scope changes, including obtaining required approvals, aligning stakeholder expectations, and assessing any corresponding impacts to budget or scheduleManage overall project communications, including communications to executive stakeholders, colleagues, vendors, business stakeholders, and clients as neededManage overall financials of the project, ensuring key financial information is always up to date in the overall project portfolio toolMaintain issues & risks logs, ensuring issues & risks are categorized and prioritized appropriately, working with project stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies and action plans for issues, and escalating / raising at appropriate timesPrepare weekly status reports and monthly / bi-monthly steering committee presentationsUpkeep of various communication channelsQualificationsEducation, Licensing, and Certifications RequiredBachelor's Degree, preferably with a technical concentration Preferred - Systems Integration Consulting / Management Consulting experiencePreferred-PMP certifiedExperience Required5 - 10 years of Project Management experience.Preferred - Relevant Pharmaceutical / CRO industry experienceExperience in communicating business processes to internal end users.Minimum 5 years project management experience in a large project environment, including the management of budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes and quality.Experience working and communicating with all levels of management up to C-level - both in working groups and at a presentation level.Business Process Mapping and experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutionsProven experience with Change Management, Organizational Change Management, and global continuous improvement programs.Experience working with SharePoint (or similar) project workspaces / document repositoriesAgile / Scrum system development lifecycle experienceWaterfall system development lifecycle (SDLC) experienceTechnically skilled Project Management professional comfortable managing the tasks of application engineers, database administrators, data architects, infrastructure, security, and other technical functionsMust have experience managing work streams from different individual workstream leads
