The Quality Engineer will assist with support and maintenance of
the quality system, take the lead in continuous improvement
initiatives, and drive quality improvement in a Lean culture.
Required Skills: Assist Quality manager in establishing,
implementing and maintaining various aspects of the quality
management system Analyze process and product failures using the 8D
RCCA/PDCA methodology and drive corrective and preventive action as
needed Involvement in continual improvement activities to enhance
the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, Defect Reduction Teams,
etc. Develop training as applicable to build quality awareness
Interface with Engineering and Production to ensure that the
transfer of new products to Production is in accordance with
approved data, and that existing products and processes are
maintained and improved Support Quality Inspectors and Quality
Technicians to ensure that products and processes comply with the
relevant requirements of the customer or quality management system
Conduct audits and create audit finding reports and assign and
follow up for proper corrective and preventive actions Generate
assembly process SOPs and QA/QC checks Assist with the development
and implementation of SPC for applicable processes Create and
maintain company quality procedures and related documentation
Assist with the planning, organizing, and managing the overall
aspects of receiving, in-process, and outgoing quality Interface
with suppliers as needed to ensure the timely resolution of
supplier quality issues Develop and maintain an adequate defect
data collection and reporting system to allow drill down to true
root cause Prepare QA Reports and drive quality improvement in
daily work cell meetings Strong communication skills, both written
and verbal Strong leadership skills and ability to work under
pressure with minimal supervision Required Experience: Quality
Engineering Skills and Qualifications: Analyzing Information ,
Reporting Results, Technical Understanding, Promoting Process
Improvement and Problem Solving, Developing Standards, Supporting
Processes, Developing Manufacturing and Test Methods and
Procedures. Degree/Experience Requirements: BS degree or a minimum
of 1-5 years experience in the Quality Engineering field Knowledge
of inspection methods used in design, fabrication, and production
in a machining and fiberglass manufacturing environment is
preferred Work Arrangement : Onsite Pay Range: $72,000.00 -
$82,000.00 We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory
