a systems and network security engineer, you can identify the
tools, systems, and applications needed to assess vulnerabilities
and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your
experience to lead the development and implementation of security
solutions that will protect infrastructure which enables mission
accomplishment.On our team, youll troubleshoot and analyze complex
challenges for customers using your knowledge of networks and
security tools. Youll use your curiosity for technology and market
trends to further research and develop security solutions.In this
role, youll closely impact mission success, protecting data and
networks from malicious payloads and actors. With mentoring,

On:Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams,
communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of
audiences, including senior management.Implement infrastructure and
cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and
vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large
enterprises.Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network,
system, and application areas, and leverage big data analytics and
traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or

Have:Experience architecting and designing IP networks, including
developing and documenting network topologiesExperience
troubleshooting and restoring network and system outagesExperience
designing and implementing DoD enclaves, including compute storage,
networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and end-user
devicesExperience implementing Cisco ISEExperience with STIGsActive
TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examHS diploma or
GEDDoD IAT Level II CertificationNice If You Have:Experience
deploying Gigamon Appliances and network tapsExperience with Cisco
Spine and Leaf network architecturesKnowledge of CSfC Multi-Site
Connectivity Capability PackageKnowledge of Cisco Secure Network
Analytics or Cisco Nexus Dashboard InsightsKnowledge of building
and maintaining SolarWinds NPM and IPAMAbility to be a
self-starter, work without considerable direction, and work with a
teamPossession of excellent verbal and written communication
skills, including for coordinating efforts and establishing
customer relationsBachelor's degreeCCNP

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individuals particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to
$176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting
