• Methodology and inspection plans: - Creation and maintenance of inspection plans (QCIP) for finished product and subcomponents, as well as their raw material. - Creation and maintenance of the instructions with which the quality acceptance tests are carried out. - Creation and maintenance of clear defect standard against which visual acceptance of the product is made. - Maintenance of pFMEA according to the internal and external rejections that arise. 2) Main quality engineering contact for approval of manufacturing changes: - Approval of documents applicable to the manufacture of the products: Standard Works, process sheets, visual aids and QWI. 3) Follow-up to investigation and corrective activities in the event of internal and external rejections. - Ensure that the team conducts an investigation to determine root causes before Client and Complaints. - Approve the corrective activities that are done to avoid recidivism of Client and / or complaints. 4) Responsible for receiving and implementing projects (new products or transfers) for quality activities. - Main point of contact between project leadership, quality representative delivering the project and the site. - Responsible for monitoring that the project team complies with validation activities. - Responsible for the management of the product generated as part of the project until its release for production. 5) Responsible for leading NCRs result meetings. 6) Provide training support to representatives of the service areas regarding the content and interpretation of the defect standard and general product specifications. 7) Constantly evaluate the execution of manufacturing and inspection activities on the shop floor through GEMBA tours. Authorities: 1) Require the production area to comply with the internal procedures for the correct manufacture of the product and stop production in case any critical is omitted or an imminent non-conforming product risk is detected for our client. Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience of at least 2.0 years as a quality engineer or equivalent.
  
  Knowledge: Knowledge of ISO 13485 (or 9001), good manufacturing practices, Excel, Word, Access, quality software and statistical methods (SPC, DOE, etc.). Skills/Competencies: The candidate must have effective oral and written communication skills. As well as, project planning (extra). Position deliverables: Indicators --- Compliance with the validation master plan. --- Implementation of assigned projects in the development of the new manufacturing site. --- Improvement in the quality performance of the assigned area in CPML (complaints per million lines) and FPA (first pass acceptance).
