As the Principal Data Engineer, you will partner and work with Data Engineers, Data Testers, Architects, and AI/ML Specialists to drive the data and analytics strategy and be program forward. You will conduct and supervise the various build, deployment, and ops activities involved in an already significant and growing pipeline of future buildouts on the data analytics platform. You will also lead new technology introduction as well as document how they will be implemented. Additionally, you will:

• Develop platform and data strategy to support this capability for company data platforms, pipelines, and applications
• Oversee release process and focus on automation opportunities to drive efficiencies and enable more enhancement and product releases onto the platform
• Act as support arm for our product management teams to leverage Code Orange platform self-service products at the company in support of its programs
• Own the management of strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of EDAP data operations
• Support infrastructure monitoring and manage the overall quality assurance of all data pipelines and algorithms
• Optimize the delivery of data platform services and frameworks, in terms of both throughput and quality, by promoting and embedding DevOps and DataOps tools and processes, and agile delivery methods as appropriate
• Work with Product Management, Portfolio Management and Departmental Head to manage demand pipeline and balance with DevOps team capacity What You'll Need to be Successful:
  • At least 5 years of programming experience in Java or Python
  • At least 5 years of experience in distributed systems (cloud computing)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead capacity role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or data science Great Additional Skills:
    • Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or data science
    • Experience with the Azure data and analytics stack including Databricks, Data Factory, SQL DW, Cosmos DB, and Power BI
    • Experience integrating and supporting a variety of enterprise data tools such as Ataccama, Talend, Collibra, Snowflake, and Stream Sets
    • Experience with enterprise cloud data architecture, preferably Azure, and delivering solutions at scale
    • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as SAFe, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
    • Experience applying CI/CD principles and processes to data solutions
    • Highly innovative mind-set and experience with analytics in a healthcare or CPG company
    • Experience using Spark or Databricks to solve data science and machine learning business problems
    • Ability to work in close partnership with groups across the IT organization (security, compliance, infrastructure) and business stakeholders in the commercial organizations
    • Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with suppliers and specialist technology providers
    • Superior communication skills and the ability to communicate inherently complicated technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders of all levels Benefits:
