Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position offers an exciting opportunity for a Virginia Licensed
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across
elementary to high school levels in Monroe, VA. With a full-time
schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, this role
involves serving a primary caseload of approximately 3040 students,
along with secondary and tertiary caseloads ranging from 2035
students. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and
providing individualized speech and language therapy services
within a school setting to support student communication needs. The
ideal candidate will collaborate closely with educators, parents,
and other support staff to develop and implement effective
treatment plans that foster student success. Qualifications and
Experience: - Virginia Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
credential is required - Experience working with a diverse caseload
of elementary to high school students - Strong ability to assess
and treat speech and language disorders in a school environment -
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to engage with
students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Location: - Monroe,
