Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
occupational therapist position is available for the first 12 weeks
of the school year on a temporary contract basis. This role
involves providing occupational therapy services to K-12 students,
supporting their educational needs and helping them achieve optimal
functional outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational
therapy evaluations and develop assessments for students. Prepare
detailed reports based on assessment outcomes. Collaborate
effectively during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
to contribute to student planning. Manage a K-12 caseload,
providing targeted interventions to support student success. Travel
to the assigned school location in Roxboro, NC to provide on-site
services. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license.
Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings
preferred. Strong knowledge of K-12 educational requirements and
interventions. Ability to conduct assessments and write clear,
thorough reports. Effective communication skills for collaboration
with educators, parents, and school personnel. Benefits of this
