Administrative Assistant is responsible for efficient and effective
administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation
of the organization. This role involves a wide range of tasks,
including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, handling
correspondence, and assisting with various administrative
functions. This role will be onsite Monday - Friday out of a
manufacturing facility in Oxford, NC. We are looking for someone
interested in long term growth. Responsibilities:
- Office Management
- Maintain and organize office files, documents, and
- Order and manage office supplies, equipment, and
- Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails,
phone calls, and mail.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a
courteous and professional manner.
- Draft and proofread documents, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference
- Manage calendars for executives or team members.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and itineraries as needed.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping
- Enter data into spreadsheets, databases, and other digital
- Maintain and update records, including employee records,
inventory, and project files.
- Assistance to Managers and Teams
- Provide administrative support to managers and departments as
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documents for
meetings and projects.
- Event Planning
- Assist in planning and organizing company events, workshops,
- Technology Proficiency
- Proficiently use office software and equipment, such as word
processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Handle basic IT-related issues or escalate them to the
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and
- High school diploma or equivalentDesired Background/Skills:
- Experience using a desk top computer.
- Experience in answering office phone calls, answering questions
about the company.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of office equipment and basic IT troubleshooting is a
