Job Description:

Duties: Serves as a full stack developer for UI technologies, including

Angular. Develops middle tier applications using Spring MVC and Spring

boot framework. Develops middle tier services using SOAP, WSDL, and REST

interfaces in Java. Uses containerization strategy, including Docker, to

cloud enable applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance

testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a

project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional

analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)

years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

developing defined contribution contract management systems in Java;

Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent)

in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1)

year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience

developing defined contribution contract management systems in Java.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing

contract management systems based on business requirements and

architecture standards; presenting designs to business stakeholders;

developing contract management system using Java/J2EE technologies,

Spring MVC, and Spring Boot frameworks; and developing messaging

application components using Message Broker Tools (IBM WebSphere Message

Broker and WebSphere Message Queue);

DE developing multithreaded mid-tier applications in distributed

environments using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and Swagger API; performing

deployment operations using Continuous Integration (CI) tools --

Jenkins, Ant, and Maven; performing configuration management utilizing

ClearCase and git stash; and performing Test-driven development using

unit and JUnit testing techniques, and SONAR;

DE developing responsive Web applications using Angular 4 and

Angular.js; and developing rich browser compatible UI applications

using: HTML5 as a client-side technology, CSS3 for styling, SASS and

Bootstrap for design templates, and JQuery and JavaScript to execute

dynamic content on webpages;

DE packaging applications using Docker container management platform;

and deploying application package on an on-prem cloud or external cloud,

including Amazon Web service (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
