Job Description:

Duties: Liaises between business and software engineering teams to

prioritize and deliver SQL and Java-based solutions within an investment

and regulatory compliance environment, with a focus on pre-trade and

post-trade compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participates in planning, design, development, testing,

deployment, releases, and projects.

• Partners with investment professionals, engineering, external

divisions, and vendors to coordinate a portfolio of work aimed at

enhancing applications.

• Coordinates the strategy, business analysis, definition of

business use cases, and adoption of multiple technology initiatives.

• Prepares detailed requirements documentation and specifications,

including use cases, context diagrams, business process flows, and scope

matrix.

• Documents and maintains progress of stories, iterations, and

releases for Agile projects.

• Communicates the progress of the multiple projects to Senior

Management and stakeholders.

• Analyzes competitive positioning in the marketplace, industry

initiatives, and vendor solutions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent,

including three year foreign degree) in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics,

Business Management, or a closely related field and five (5) years of

experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience designing,

implementing, and project managing information technology solutions and

implementations within a financial services operations and product

development environment; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or

foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics,

Business Management, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

designing, implementing, and project managing information technology

solutions and implementations within a financial services operations and

product development environment.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing

investment compliance analysis using investment compliance monitoring

systems -- LZ Sentinel, JPM Access, and Blackrock Aladdin -- to identify

and leverage data for the identification and evaluation of security and

fund attributes in these systems;

DE applying business analysis methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) to

perform data modeling, data analysis, process modeling, and use case

modeling; using Visio, SharePoint, and knowledge management systems to

support project management, communication management, and business risk

management, including process mapping and improvements, within an asset

management environment; and developing an investment compliance

monitoring system to assist in evaluating and monitoring client, asset

manager, and regulatory rules and regulations;

DE creating UI designs and prototypes using wire framing and prototyping

tools -- Sketch, Axure, UX Pin, and Invision -- to create a monitoring

system from a functional and data perspective;

DE performing functional integration, user acceptance testing, release

planning, and defect triage within a cross advisory program environment

using HP ALM, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools -- Ribbit and

SharePoint; and designing, architecting, and executing automation

strategies, functional test strategies, and performance strategies --

including feasibility analysis, tool comparisons, test coverage,

resource and tasks assignments, environment stability, requirement

traceability, and maintenance.
